Diamond Sky is an independent consultancy and software practice working across Earth observation, satellite systems, space data, data infrastructure, software, and emerging technologies.

Diamond Sky supports public agencies, research organisations, and industry partners with strategy, technical analysis, EO sector analysis, architecture, and communication — particularly where space-based data meets software, the internet, and real-world decision-making.

The practice also designs, builds, and operates online data platforms for the Earth observation community — including the satellite and instrument database behind the CEOS EO Handbook, and a new EO data explorer and API entering a private pilot in late 2026.

Diamond Sky builds on deep experience across international space agencies, Earth observation programmes, and data initiatives, including work with NASA, ESA, JAXA, Geoscience Australia, CSIRO, and partners around the world. The focus is on clarity, robustness, and long-term value.

Diamond Sky is led by George Dyke, an Australia-based consultant with experience across Earth observation, satellite programmes, and international space and data initiatives.
